We went to the zoo this morning at were there at 7:30am! No one else was and it was nice to have the zoo to ourselves for a little while.

We started by going to see the elephants. This is Sneezy, the male of the zoo.  The picture isn’t great but it was hard with the barriers.

He did however sneeze on me and within 5 minutes of being at the zoo, I was dirty. Hey! Just like at work!! :)

This bird was beautiful. I don’t remember what it’s called now but apparently, at one point, there were only a dozen in the wild! They have hatched over 2000 in captivity since the 60s.

Hummingbird? What?  I have never seen one before in my life. Mike pointed it out and I had to try to snap a picture. It was fun to watch!
