Early 2006, we had the bright idea of looking for a second cat. We headed to the Humane Society in town looking for kittens. We saw cats in all shapes and sizes. “Mister” as he was known back then was standoff-ish, not impressed with the lady and kid going gaga over all the pretty cats. I have no idea why but something told me that this cat was special. The cat that completely ignored me and didn’t run up to us for tummy rubs was special. We decided he was the one for us. We decided that an older cat was a better choice because they are so hard to adopt out. The cute fuzzy kittens get adopted pretty quickly but the middle aged/borderline senior cats..not so much. He is front declawed (which I think is cruel and they’ll just use their back...
