I made this a few weeks ago. I didn’t care it was 100F, I wanted chili! : )

I don’t have a profound story on how this recipe came about so I’m just going to give it to you straight ; )

So this is what I came up with. I can’t eat spicy at all so this recipe is not spicy. If you want heat, add more cayenne and chili.

This is a great starter chili recipe and you can add things to it and make it your own!

I will take more detailed pictures next time I make this recipe.

Recipe Notes

Crock Pot version: this version will make everything more tender, although the original recipe does work if you are short on time.

  1. Brown the meat.
  2. Put everything in the crockpot
  3. Set on low for 8-12hrs (I usually set my crock pot on at around 10pm on Saturdays and turn it off before I leave for church at 10am).

This is everything in the crockpot before I mixed it and turned it on. Mmmmm
