Base Chili Recipe
  1. Brown the ground beef, add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Chop onion and bell pepper. Cook for ~7 min with a little olive oil until tender.
  3. Add meat the veggies and add all the cans.
  4. Add chili, cayenne, salt and pepper, garlic powder.
  5. Let it simmer for about 45minutes, stirring occasionally.
Recipe Notes

Crock Pot version: this version will make everything more tender, although the original recipe does work if you are short on time.

  1. Brown the meat.
  2. Put everything in the crockpot
  3. Set on low for 8-12hrs (I usually set my crock pot on at around 10pm on Saturdays and turn it off before I leave for church at 10am).
